HIKING EQUIPMENT FOR HIRE
We have chosen a range of high-quality outdoor equipment for our guided tour clients, and the same equipment is available for independent bushwalkers to hire.
Drawing on our experience hiking in Tasmania and overseas, our selection criteria included comfort, ease of use, suitability, durability, light-weight and compactness. We have personally tested all items, and confirm that our choices performed exceptionally well under extreme conditions our clients would not experience. Where possible, we have purchased Australian designed and manufactured equipment, because we believe this is equal to any available worldwide, and we also believe in supporting our own country’s products. HIKING EQUIPMENT FOR SALE
In addition to the range of sundry supplies we stock (fuel, maps, food-for-the-track, National Park passes, equipment etc), if given sufficient warning we can arrange to supply bushwalkers and independent travellers with any readily available equipment or supplies they may need or have overlooked in their planning.

This means you don’t waste time sourcing these items, as we can have them available for you either at Base Camp Tasmania or on pickup at Hobart airport.
Call and discuss your requirements with us – just allow us several days to coordinate your purchases with one of our regular trips into Hobart before you arrive.
